Do Something is a website containing blogs, campaigns, and news all focused on the interests of today's youth. These groups know the power that teens have and are looking to give teens opportunities to get involved year round.

ONE Campaign
The ONE Campaign, started by Bono of U2, is aimed at fighting global poverty and its devastating effects. No matter how much time you have to give over the summer, the ONE Campaign has something you can do, from signing their on-line petition to wearing a bracelet or organizing an event. What better way to get your name next to celebrity supporters, like Penelope Cruz and Brad Pitt?

Youth Noise is an organization that allows each member to speak out on their own cause and interact with other members who share their interests. Ever dream of studying fashion in New York City? Now's your chance. Fashion Camp NYC gives participants the opportunity to meet with high-end fashion executives and learn the basics of design and styling. The camp is one week long and has programming for teens ages 14 to 18 and is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Postsecret.com
An ongoing online art project, Postsecret.com is a great site for passing the time on lazy summer afternoons. People anonymously submit their secrets on postcards and they are posted to an online blog where people can respond to them. The site has become so popular that they now publish "Best of Postsecret" books.

Election '08
YouTube: CitizenTube Vlog (Video Blog)
Interested in the 2008 election? YouTube offers an online video blog that covers candidates from all parties and allows viewers to suggest questions for presidential hopefuls and site content that the moderator responds to. This (vlog) allows you to get involved from your very own computer so you can be politically active while still enjoying your vacation.
